"Stand Together: Ending Gender-Based Violence Against Girls"
In Botswana, gender-based violence remains a significant issue. In 2022, over 4,500 women were raped, marking a 400-case increase from the previous year. Between January and March 2023, 617 rape cases and 469 defilement cases were reported. These alarming statistics highlight the urgent need for action to protect women and girls in the country.
The message is clear: "STOP KILLING US." ✋π½π It's time we all stand together to end the violence and injustice faced by girls. πͺπ½π§π½
