EDUCATE A GIRL EMPOWER A NATION

Image
From a young age, I was volunteering to help children, and as I grew up, I developed a passion to help girls and fight for their rights. Coming from a village where girls face emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, I saw how much support they needed. This inspired me to stand up for them and create opportunities for them to succeed. 🌸✨ My education also helped me understand how children grow and the challenges they face, especially girls. As I learned more, I noticed that girls often don’t get the same chances as boys, and are treated unfairly just because they are girls. This drove me to take action and advocate for equal opportunities for them. πŸ’ͺπŸ“š Join us this Saturday for our seminar! It’s a chance to come together, learn, and find ways to support and empower girls. Don’t miss it! 🌟

MY STORY

Sadi’s life changed drastically when she was just 6 years old. Both of her parents passed away suddenly, leaving her an orphan in her small village in Botswana. With no family to turn to, she was taken in by an elderly aunt who could barely afford to feed herself. The loss of her parents weighed heavily on Lebang, but even more daunting were the challenges that lay ahead. Life was a daily struggle. Despite the hardships, Sadi had a deep hunger for knowledge. She believed that education was her only way out of poverty.  As she grew older, the weight of her circumstances felt heavier. Many girls in her situation would drop out of school, forced to work to support their families. But Sadi was determined to carve out a different path for herself. She used her grief and struggles as fuel, working hard and eventually earning a scholarship to attend university. While at university, Sadi realized that her story was not unique.
