"Stand Together: Ending Gender-Based Violence Against Girls"

In Botswana, gender-based violence remains a significant issue. In 2022, over 4,500 women were raped, marking a 400-case increase from the previous year. Between January and March 2023, 617 rape cases and 469 defilement cases were reported. These alarming statistics highlight the urgent need for action to protect women and girls in the country.

The message is clear: "STOP KILLING US." ✋πŸ½πŸ’” It's time we all stand together to end the violence and injustice faced by girls. πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ‘§πŸ½

As the Girl Child Movement Botswana, we call on everyone to join hands in solidarity to protect and empower our girls. πŸ’– Let’s work together to create a safer and brighter future for them. 🌟

Together, we can make a difference
